I just read that a couple of YA series will have 10+ books. I just don’t get it. I’m pretty sure the quality of the stories goes down with each new book. I very much prefer a shorter series with good stories than just a longer one, which is pretty much a money making scheme. :/ Even if I loved the author’s work, I would get tired after a while. Series that are longer than 4 books usually tend to get boring and uninteresting. Then there are filler books… ugh. I can’t stand those. I am ranting because I’ve read series like these before and have gotten tired after a while. I’ve honestly stopped reading the books in those series.
